I am sure you have all seen the amazing pictures appear on your Instagram feeds of Campbell Point House. Even before I was engaged to Mem, Campbell Point House was always my number one dream venue to get married at. From what I have seen on my Instagram this property is breathtaking! Who wouldn’t want to walk down the aisle overlooking all that beautiful scenery? What a dream!
So you can imagine how excited I was when I found out that Campbell Point House has opened its doors to the public as a boutique hotel from October 2018.
The property was originally built as a family home but has recently undergone a multi-million-dollar conversion, comprising of 8 luxurious suites and accommodating a maximum of only 30 people.
- Private restaurant lead by head chef Tobin Kent (formerly Head Chef at Gladioli)
- Local Bellarine Peninsula produce, and incorporating organic produce grown on the grounds of Campbell Point House
- Infinity pool
- Championship grass tennis court
- Day spa
- Private jetty
- Billiards rooms
- Cigar lounge
- Bar area complete with a conservatory
- Formal dining with a spacious entrance way
Hotel guests will be able to experience an eight-course Dégustation dinner, along with a fresh a la carte breakfast menu which is also included in the accommodation rate.
The property is located just over one hour from Melbourne. Guests can drive to the property or utilise the onsite helipad (15 minutes by helicopter).YEP you read right, helicopter!
Since getting married at the property is a little way out of my budget, what is in my budget is staying at the property. Something I am planning with Mem over the coming months. Rates start at $1250 per couple per night which includes dinner, breakfast, complimentary mini bar, plus a welcome champagne and cheese platter.
Who knows maybe we will even elope just the two of us at the property. I did say it is my dream wedding venue now didn’t I?
