I am so excited to share this post with you all as I have grown up with Pyrex glassware and bakeware in my mama’s kitchen. She has always bragged about the quality, something I would roll my eyes to a few years back. Surely all glassware and bakeware are the same right?
Over a year into #housewifelife I sure was wrong about that and now can see why she bragged about the quality of Pyrex. Definitely an investment if you’re after glassware and bakeware that will last you in the kitchen.
Yes, I admit, I was wrong mum ha-ha a very rare sentence from your daughter.
As all our friends are at that ‘next stage in our lives chapter’ and house warming gifts can be a little generic. You know……. wine, flowers and candles. Guilty? Don’t worry me too.
I have put together a date night in kit based on Mem and my favourite meal to cook together… you guessed it PASTA. Some people may take the piss out of our pasta nights but there is nothing I love more than a romantic pasta night in for two.
I wanted to help my friends create new traditions with there loved ones or roomie’s, so I have put together a little kit I know your all going to love.
- Tea Towel: Linen and microfiber towels in neutral tones suit any modern home.
- Pasta Sauce: Sacla Italia or whatever is on sale at my local supermarket.
- Pasta: Pasta Garofalo, little more pricey but taste just like fresh pasta.
- Wooden Spoon: Shop Kmart for a cheap find.
- Pyrex Inspiration Dish
- Gift box, bag or basket #getcreative
Viola.. what do you think?
Such a cute house warming gift that won’t just sit in the back of their cupboard collecting dust. The Pyrex dish can be used to bake your fav desserts, roast and makes an impressive dish for a pasta bake for two that I promise you they will use for years!
